Bishops' Conference of Slovakia - Ad limina apostolorum
During the week of June 2-9, 2024, the Velehrad Pilgrimage House hosted 17 Slovak bishops and their entourage who came to the visit "Ad limina apostolorum", i.e. "To the threshold of the apostles". The intensive program was filled with meetings at various Vatican Dicasteries, services in papal basilicas and culminated in an audience with the Holy Father Francis. Some Holy masses the bishops also celebrated in the chapel of our Pilgrimage House, which also provided space for media briefings. It was a great pleasure for us to meet closely the pastors of the Slovak Church and create the background for this important event in its life, also because we are in contact with it almost daily through our Slovak guests.
